The Aadi Mahotsav 2024, was officially opened by President Smt. Droupadi Murmu in the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on February 10, 2024.
Under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs' auspices, TRIFED is organising the Aadi Mahotsav, which aims to highlight the vast diversity of India's tribal traditions.
It provides a venue for showcasing the amazing skill and artistry of tribal craftspeople as well as a chance for interaction, education, and empowerment of tribal communities.
A larger exposition with more than 300 stalls showcasing a variety of tribal art, handicrafts, natural goods, and delicious tribal cuisine will be available at the event.

7th Indian Ocean Conference Held
The 7th IOC took place on February 9–10, 2024, in Perth, Australia. The theme was “Towards a Stable and Sustainable Indian Ocean”.
The India Foundation, Perth-US Asia Center (Australia), and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (Singapore) coordinated it.
It brings together academics, corporate executives, politicians, and members of civil society to talk about trade, security, and regional collaboration.
The conference emphasized that more cooperation is needed to create a stable and sustainable Indian Ocean.
