Selection Process

The selection process is as follows : 

  • Written Exam (65 marks)
  • Typing Test (Qualifying)
  • Document Verification (35 marks for Higher Qualification and Sportsman)
  • Medical Examination

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification    The candidates should have cleared the 12th/ Intermediate Exam from any recognized board in India with CCC / Equivalent exam passed. The candidate must have UPSSSC PET 2022 Score Card. Typing Speed in Hindi at 25 words per minute & in English at 30 words per minute

Syllabus

  • Hindi Comprehension and Writing Ability     Questions will be asked to test the knowledge of Hindi Comprehension and Writing Ability of the candidates.The level of the questions will be of Intermediate level.
  • General Intelligence Test   This test will have questions that will be based on intellectual activities like understanding instructions, finding relationships, similarities, and analogies, drawing conclusions, and so on.
  • General Information      This part of the question paper is intended to assess the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and his ability to use it in society. Such questions will also be kept in this test, which can include contemporary events and everyday visible and experienced facts, which may also include historical and geographical facts. 
  • Concept of computers and Information Technology and contemporary technology developments in this field    In this part of the question paper, the candidates will be asked about computer and information technology, hardware, software, operating systems, spreadsheets, e-mail, social networking, knowledge of e-governance, digital financial tools and applications, Internet and the World Wide Web (www). Introduction to IT, Future Skills and Cyber ​​Security Overview, Elements of Word Processing and Technological Developments and Innovations in Computer and Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Processing, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Internet of Things) And questions related to India’s achievements in this field will be asked.  
  • General Information related to Uttar Pradesh    In this part of the question paper, History, culture, art, architecture, festivals, folk dance, literature, regional languages, heritage, social customs and tourism, geographical landscape and environment, natural resources, climate, Questions based on Soil, Forest, Wildlife, Mines and Minerals, Economy of Uttar Pradesh, Agriculture, Industry, Business and Administration and current events and achievements of the state of Uttar Pradesh in various fields will be asked.
