Selection Process

The selection process of the CG TET 2024 examination is as follows-

  • Paper I (I to V)
  • Paper II (VI to VII)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification-The educational qualifications for both the paper are as follows:-

Paper I (Classes I to V)

  • Candidates must pass 10th class with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Must have passed 12th class with a minimum of 45% and 2 years of training in elementary education under the National Teacher Education Council.
  • Must have passed 12th class with a minimum of 50% and a 4-year-old elementary education training.
  • Should have passed XII with a minimum of 50% and be a candidate for the final year in the biennial training.     
  • Should have Graduation and passed appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and passing or appearing final year of B.Ed.

Paper II (Classes VI to VIII)

  • Candidate must have passed XII or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and passed appearing 4-year of BA/B.Sc.ED or BA Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
  • A candidate should have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and one year of Bachelor in Education B.Ed (Special education) or 2 years of Bachelor in Education B.Ed.

  • A candidate must have obtained a graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in BEd, as per National Teacher Education Council.
  • Candidate must have passed XII or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and passed appearing 4-year of B.El.Ed.
  • Should have Graduation and passed appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduation with 50% marks and passing or appearing final year of B.Ed

Age Limit-The minimum age to appear for the CG TET Examination 2024 is 18 years and CG TET has not set any maximum age for the CG TET examination.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • Negative Marking- There is no negative marking in the CG TET 2024 examination and 1 Mark would be awarded for each correct answer.
  • Time Duration- Both Paper I and II would be conducted in the duration 2 hours and 30 minutes, respectively.
  • No. of Questions- In both paper I and II the total number of questions would be 150 questions in each paper.
  • Type of Questions- Both the paper would be consisting of multiple-choice questions. Main Papers would be conducted in Hindi/English. There are around 20 languages for the candidate to opt from.
  • Mode of Exam- The mode of examination of CTET 2024 would be online.
  • Qualifying Marks- The qualifying marks for CG TET 2024 is at least 60% marks for general and for OBC/ST/SC /PWD is 40%.

Admit Card

The admit card for CG TET 2024 exam is released by the CG TET on their official website. The candidates can download their admit card through the following steps;

  • Visit the official website of CG TET i.e. vyapamonline.cgstate.gov.in
  • Click on the "Admit Card" option appearing on the top.
  • Click on the notification reading STATUS / DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD .
  • Enter your Roll No./Registration ID, Date of Birth/Password that was provided to you at the time of registration for the CG TET July 2024 exam.
  • Select the preferred Area/City that you mentioned at the time of registration.
  • Your CG TET Admit Card appears on your screen.
  • Download and take a printout of the CG TET Hall Ticket.

Result

The result for CG TET exam 2024 is announced by the (CGPEB) on their official website. You can check their result by following the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website (vyapamonline.cgstate.gov.in) to check the CTET July 2024 result for the exam.
  • Go to the Result section and Click on it.
  • Now Click on the “CG TET 2024”.
  • Now Download the CG TET Result 2024 PDF files and Save this result PDF.
  • The list of qualified candidates will be shown.
  •  Now, press “Ctrl+F” and enter your Name/ Roll number.

Cut Off

The cut off marks of CG TET 2024 Examination would also be released with the result of the CTET 2024 examination.

Answer Key

The candidates can check the CG TET 2024 Answer Key by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website (vyapamonline.cgstate.gov.in) or click on the link shared above.
  • Click on the Answer Key tab.
  • The answer keys to the question booklets will only be available online.
  • Enter the roll number and birth date as password and download the right answer key.
  •  It will contain the correct responses to the exam questions.
  • Students have the option to print out or save the document for later use.

How many attempts are in the CG TET?
There is no limit to the number of attempts a person can undertake to obtain a CG TET certificate. A person who has qualified for the CG TET exam may take it again to enhance their score.
