Drafts Explosives Bill, 2024

• The government intends to replace the Explosives Act of 1884 with the Draft Explosives Bill, 2024 on May 2, 2024.

•  Because of their volatility and possible risk to public safety if handled improperly, these materials are subject to strict regulations.
•  The proposed Explosives Bill 2024 will provide the Union government the responsibility for issuing, suspending, or canceling licenses in addition to performing other designated tasks under the new law.
•  The regulatory organization is the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO), which is housed within the DPIIT.

At World Trade Centre 10th Edition of World Art Dubai Opened

Chang’e-6 Lunar Probe of China with Pakistan’s ICUBE-Q

• China's Chang'e-6 lunar probe is ready to launch as on May 2, 2024, with the goal of collecting samples from the Moon's far side.
•  Pakistan's ICUBE-Q, which will make its mission debut, will join in a historic alliance.

India’s First Constitution Park to be Developed by Indian Army (Defence)
