Selection Process
Candidates of CG Police Constable are required to go through the exam stages in order to get selected. The CG Police Constable Selection Process includes the following stages-
- Stage 1: Document Verification.
- Stage 2: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Stage 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Stage 4: Written Examination.
- Stage 5: Skill Test (if applicable)
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the Chhattisgarh Police Recruitment 2023, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the Board. The eligibility criteria are as follows-
Age
The category-wise age limit of the applicants is minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as of 1st January 2023.There is an upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules.
- General - 18-28 Years
- Other Backward Class (OBC) - 18-31 Years
- Scheduled Caste (SC) - 18-33 Years
- Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 18-33 Years
- Economically weaker section (EWS) - 18-28 Years
Qualification
Candidates must have completed a 10+2 or Intermediate in any stream from a recognized university. There is an education relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government rules. Education relaxation in other post of police recruitment is as following –
- For the Constable (Driver) Post, 8th Pass Applicants can apply although they must have a driving license.
- For the post of Constable (GD), you must have passed minimum 10th Class from State or Central Board with Hindi as subject.
- For the post of Constable Tradesman, you must have passed ITI in the respective trade with more than qualifying marks.
Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The CG Police Exam Pattern consists of 3 stages out of which one is written test stages. As per the CG Police exam pattern, the examination will be conducted in one phase written test. The CG Police Exam Pattern for each of them is as follows.
Written Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of General Knowledge, Mental ability, analysis ability and Arithmetic. The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. The total number of such questions will be 100.
