Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the Vacancy Notification for the Recruitment of Police Constables on behalf of Jharkhand Police. The Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination-2023 (JCCE 2023) notification was released for 4919 vacancies in the state police. • Stage-1: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
• Stage-2: Medical Examination
• Stage-3: Written Examination

Eligibility Criteria

1. Regional and tribal language knowledge

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of examination option of any one language from Hindi/Enfglish/Sanskrit/Urdu/Santhaali/Bangla/Munda/ho/khadia/udaon/kurmaali/khortha/naagpuri/panchpargania/Odia.
• It will be mandatory to obtain minimum 30 marks in these.

2. Hindi Language / General Knowledge/ Numerical Ability

Syllabus consists of subjects such as Current Affairs, General Knowledge and Numerical Ability.

• हिन्दी -  हिन्दी और अन्य भारतीय भाषायें, हिन्दी व्याकरण का मौलिक ज्ञान-हिन्दी वर्णमाला, तद्भव-तत्सम, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, अनेकार्थक, वाक्यांशों के स्थान पर एक शब्द, समरूपी भिन्नार्थक शब्द, अशुद्ध वाक्यों को शुद्ध करना, लिंग, वचन, कारक, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया, काल, वाच्य, अव्यय, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय, सन्धि, समास, विराम-चिन्ह, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियां, रस, छन्द, अलंकार आदि, अपठित बोध, प्रसिद्ध कवि, लेखक एवं उनकी प्रसिद्ध रचनायें, हिन्दी भाषा में पुरस्कार, विविध ।
• General Knowledge - National News, International News, New Schemes, Eminent Personalities, Financial Schemes, Nobel Prize Winners and Awards, Polity and Indian Constitution, Indian history, Science and Technology, Geography, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Finance, Computer Science etc.
• Numerical Ability  - Ratios, Missing Numbers , Age , Time and Work , Volume , LCM and HCF, Percentage , Factoring , Profit and Loss , Simple and Compound Interest , Time and Distance , Average , Fractions , Mensuration , Prices and Expenditure Problems , Series Completion etc.
