The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will initiate the UP Police Constable 2023 Recruitment in the month of December 2023, tentatively. Selection Process

The Recruitment for the year 2023-24 involves a structured selection procedure comprising the following phases:

  • Written Exam
  • PST (Physical Standard Test) and PET (Physical Efficiency Test) Exam
  • Document Verification (DV) Process
  • Medical Exam

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

  • UP Police Constable - The candidate should be 12th pass or intermediate till the last date of form submission from any recognized board Or any equivalent qualification approved by the Government.
  • UP Police SI - The candidate must have a graduate degree in any stream from UGC recognized University/Institute to be eligible for UP Police recruitment.

Age Limits – Age limits for this post for male candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years For Female candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The UP Police Constable Exam Pattern outlines the distribution of questions and marks across various sections of the exam.   • The UP Police Exam will be conducted for 300 marks.
  • The questions will be in Multiple Choice-Type Question (MCQ) type.
