• In partial modification of the Commission's Important Notice dated April 8, 2024, posted on the Commission's website, the revised schedule for two upcoming examinations is as follows:

1.  Selection Post Examination, Phase-XII, 2024

               Paper-I (CBE):- June 20, 21, 24, 25, and 26, 2024

2. Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024

                Tier-I (CBE):- July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11, 2024

• The schedule for the 'Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024 (Paper-I)' remains unchanged, set for June 27 to 29, 2024.
• All concerned candidates are advised to take note of this updated schedule and regularly check the Commission's website (ssc.nic.in) for further updates.

• The National Testing Agency (NTA) decided to cancel the UGC-NET (University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test) exam on June 19, 2024.
• Citing concerns that the "integrity of the examination may have been compromised."
•  The UGC-NET was held on June 18, 2024, at 1205 exam centers across 317 cities in India, with over 11 lakh candidates participating.
• The decision followed inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), which operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs, raising questions about the exam's integrity.
• UGC-NET is conducted to determine eligibility for the positions of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

• The Staff Selection Commission announced the postponement of the exam dates on April 8, 2024.
•  The exam dates were delayed due to the General Elections, which will take place from April 19 to June 1, 2024, with the counting taking place on June 4, 2024.
• It is recommended that candidates consult the official website, ssc.gov.in.
• The examination dates are as follows: -

• The Commission held the Computer Based Examination for the positions of Rifleman in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2024, and Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces, SSF, and 2024 from February 20 to March 7, 2024.
• It has been determined that a re-examination of applicants for the specific venues, dates, and shifts is necessary due to technical issues related to the test that were discovered during its assessment.
• In light of the aforementioned, the Commission has determined to reexamine applicants who showed up for the exam on the days, locations, and shifts listed in the Annexure on March 30, 2024.
• Only candidates who took part in the Commission's Computer Based Exam 2024, which took place between February 20 and March 7, 2024, will be able to retake it.
• It is recommended that candidates check out the official website, ssc.gov.in to be informed about the centers.

• The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the most recent information regarding the Indian Forest Service Exam 2024 recruiting on March 20, 2024.
• Due to the upcoming general election, the Commission opted to move the Civil Services Examination-2024, which serves as a preliminary examination for the IFS Examination-2024, to June 16, 2024.
•  It is recommended that candidates check the upsc.gov.in official website to stay informed about the progress of the examination.
• The preliminary exam was last administered on May 26, 2024.
